You know Lisa Bongean as a master of tiny piecing, wool appliqué and beautiful hand-stitching.  She's also an original Block Head and the designer of Block 6 for Block Heads 3.

Lisa's block is Magic!  Really.  It can be made in four sizes - 4", 6", 8" and 12" finished, and you guessed it, Lisa will be making the 4" size.

These are her first three blocks for this year.

This is Block 1 - Star Chain by Corey Yoder.  (Lisa did the math for the 4" finished block and they're included in her blog post for Block 1.

Sunshine Star by Sherri McConnell is Block 2.

And this is Star and Crown, Betsy Chutchian's Block 3.  Just by playing around with the color placement, Lisa changed the look of the block.
